Club Monaco was founded in 1985 in Toronto with the idea of creating a line of “better basics.” Through the ‘90s, the brand continued to grow, moved to New York City, and caught the attention of iconic American designer Ralph Lauren as a unique voice in the industry—so much so that he acquired Club Monaco in 1999.

Today, Club is an evolution of its heritage: a modern, urban-minded brand with an element of ease and a spark of entrepreneurship from its Canadian roots.

BIG AMERICAN COOKBOOK: 250 Recipes from Across America by Mario Batali
This fall, Club Monaco is swooning over a new book from our friend Mario Batali.  Over two years in the making, Mario shares 250 delicious recipes from his endless search across all corners of the United States.   From spicy gumbos of the Gulf Coast to Philly Cheesesteaks, he uses recipes passed down through the generations and adds his own personal touch with Italian and Spanish influences.  

IT by Alexa Chung
Fashion IT girl, Alexa Chung shares personal inspirations and stories in the form of collages and doodles and inspirational quotes.  The memoir contains an endless lists of famous people she is obsessed with, from Julie Christie and Nastassja Kinski to Mick Jagger and Kate Moss.  She also reflects on heart break and writes about a girl’s struggle to take the perfect selfie.
