The Creative Director and Senior Vice President of Women’s Design – Caroline Belhumeur

Since 2008 Caroline Belhumeur has been the visionary behind Club Monaco’s women’s collection. As the brand’s lead women’s designer, Belhumeur dictates the direction and point of view for women’s apparel and accessories each season, always harkening back to Club Monaco’s ethos of modern, must-have pieces that are classic yet trend-focused. Hailing from the town of Bristol in the British countryside, Belhumeur's love of fashion developed at a young age when she would watch her mother sew clothes from fleece plucked in the field surrounding her house. Growing up, she was influenced by the 1970s style found in the pages of Vogue as well as by the music of David Bowie and other icons of the period.

With her life’s passion ahead, Belhumeur went on to receive her formal training at Kingston University in London. Before long, her talent and love of craft caught the eye of Calvin Klein, who hired her directly out of school to join the design team at his namesake New York-based fashion house. In 2008 Belhumeur joined Club Monaco. Throughout her tenure at the brand, Belhumeur continues to seek inspiration from the Bohemian shapes and silhouettes of the 1970s, fused with a structured, urban uniform designed for the modern woman

The Vice President of Men’s Design – Matthew Millward

Club Monaco, the international lifestyle brand, named Matthew Millward as the new vice president of men’s design, effective on August, this year. In this position, Millward is responsible for leading global product design for men’s apparel, accessories and third party. He has also been tasked with elevating the product assortment through a renewed creative direction. Millward will report to John Mehas, Chief Executive Officer.

“Matthew was raised in Yorkshire, England -- growing up surrounded by some of the best woolen mills in the world,” said John Mehas.  “Largely influenced by his upbringing, education and experience, he will continue to build upon what the Club Monaco customer knows us for -- the best-in-class fabrics, attention to tailoring and fit, and elevated design aesthetic.”

Mehas and Millward plan to focus on the expansion of free-standing Men’s Shops across Asia, Europe, and North America and to refine the men’s product through updated silhouettes, expanded fits, new and elevated design. 

“I’m thrilled to join the talented design and creative teams at Club Monaco,” said Millward.  “This is a great opportunity to combine my knowledge of tailoring, construction, and fabrics with a brand that has become the talk of the industry as a result of its innovation and commitment to delivering affordable, urban, luxurious product. I am excited to shift my focus and return to overseeing a brand, which truly engages with my training, and builds on roles I held before.”

Prior to joining Club Monaco, Millward was most recently the Senior Design Director at Nike, Inc. overseeing men's sportswear apparel, men's outerwear, and specific collaborative projects for Nike LAB and Olympics. At Nike, Millward was responsible for the design and development of a 350+ piece sportswear collection; creative product strategy; and spearheading special projects including the re-launch of Nike ACG and designing the 2016 USA Olympic uniforms.

Previously, Millward was a Design Director in men's outerwear, roughwear, swim, tailoring, and headwear for Rugby at Ralph Lauren. He also spent six years at Abercrombie & Fitch, growing into a Design Director for all male brands within denim, outerwear and swim.

Beforelaunching his career in the United States, Millward graduated from the Royal College of Art in London with an MA in Men's Fashion Design.  Millward also holds a BA from University of Northumbria, Newcastle-Upon-Tyne.

男裝設計副總裁 - Matthew Millward

國際時尚生活品牌 Club Monaco,於今年8月任命 Matthew Millward 為男裝設計副總裁。Millward 負責主理全球男裝、配飾及外判產品的設計,並循全新創作方向完善產品類別。Millward 直接向行政總裁 John Mehas 匯報。

John Mehas 表示:「Mathew 於英國約克郡長大,從小接觸全球最優質的羊毛紡織廠。他將結合其成長背景、教育及經驗,致力昇華 Club Monaco 一直引以為傲的精髓,包括優質布料、上乘剪裁和設計美學,將品牌推向更高峰。」

Mehas 和 Millward 計劃專注於拓展亞洲、歐洲和北美的獨立男裝店,透過更新的剪裁、更多的呎碼和全新設計,把男裝產品的細緻度大大提高。

加入 Club Monaco 前,Millward 曾擔任 Nike 資深設計總監,統領各類男裝運動服產品及 Nike LAB 和奧運聯乘產品。Millward 曾為 Nike 設計及研發超過 350 款運動服,並負責創意產品策略和無數創新計劃,包括更新 Nike ACG 系列及 2016年為美國奧運運動員設計服裝。
